The Office of Enterprise Resilience, includes the offices of Emergency Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Public and Occupational Health. The first department of its kind in Maryland, Enterprise Resilience will be responsible for leading the University’s collaborative effort to safeguard human health, reduce the University’s vulnerability to disruptions that adversely impact UMB’s ability to fulfill its mission, and serve the greater community during times of disaster.

The Office of Public and Occupational Health will lead collaborative efforts to develop and strengthen systems to promote and maintain the physical, mental, and social well-being of our University community. Developed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the team will advance UMB’s preparedness for future public health emergencies or disasters.
